During the Iron Fist panel at NYCC, Deborah Ann Woll has just been officially confirmed to reprise her role as Karen Page from Daredevil in the upcoming The Punisher Netfllix series.
The Netflix / Marvel New York Comic Con panel is on fire tonight, breaking news left and right about their highly-anticipated upcoming series Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher.
After the Iron Fist trailer debuted, The Punisher himself, Jon Bernthal, took the stage!
Executive producer, Jeph Loeb exicitedly told a cheering audience that they're officially a week into production on The Punisher Netflix series.
Bernthal took a moment to thank fans, law enforcement, the military, and everyone else who made his solo series possible. He promised fans that he will once again honor the character.
He then revealed that Deborah Ann Woll will be joining him in the show as well! Woll starred in both seasons of Netflix's Daredevil, and officially met The Punisher in season 2.
Woll responded by saying, "You guys don't love him as much as I do."
Oh, yes we do!
Daredevil seasons 1 and 2, Jessica Jones season 1, and Luke Cage season 1 are all available on Netflix. Iron Fist will premiere on March 17, 2017. The Defenders expected later in the year. The Punisher does not have a release date yet.
