A new featurette from Marvel Studios gives a little bit of insight into how they come up with the credits stingers that have made their movies must-see events ever since Nick Fury introduced himself to Tony Stark.
The behind-the-scenes look from the forthcoming Doctor Strange Blu-Ray shows how and why they chose to introduce the Sorcerer Supreme to the Marvel Universe at large.
When Stephen Strange and Thor Odinson sit down for tea (and ale) to discuss Loki, fans were treated to a humorous exchange between two of the MCU's heaviest hitters.
"When it comes to our tags we don't often script them out," said executive producer Stephen Broussard, "or necessarily know when the film starts shooting what the tags are going to be."
The scene was definitely a highlight and, apparently, an organic development after the Doctor Strange production team saw the script for Thor: Ragnarok.
It was a welcome addition and gave us our first glimpse of Doctor Strange interacting with the Marvel Universe at large.
The characters will meet again in Thor: Ragnarok as well as in Avengers: Infinity War.
