Kaiba is one of Yu-Gi-Oh! Fans favourite characters, with the former villain joining Yugi in saving the world as the show continued. When Kaiba was first introduced in the series he was rich, a genius, a brat and the world greatest duellist. Kaiba was also the only one good enough to own three of the four Blue Eyes White Dragons, with him destroying the fourth after hospitalising Yugi’s grandfather.
However, Kaiba can come a long way since that time and even played a big part in saving the world in the Yu-Gi-Oh!: Dark Side of Dimensions film, which came out in English earlier this year. With the original characters once again entering the spotlight, fans have been wanting to get their hands on some of the merchandise from the original series. With that said, that is exactly why Figma have released this new figurine of Kaiba.

This figurine of Kaiba looks ready to duel, wearing his famous whit robe and wielding his classic duel-disk, which is strange as the film introduced a new duel-disk. It is possible Figma assumed that Yu-Gi-Oh! Fans would prefer the old classic style of the duel disk and added that instead to the new Kaiba figurine.
However, don’t get too excited Yu-Gi-Oh! Fans, as the Kaiba figurine isn’t available just yet. I mere prototype for the figurine has been showcased by Figma in New York’s Comic Con, with it expected to be up for purchasing in May, 2018.
The original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga series was written by Kazuki Takahashi and published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1996. The manga series then ended in 2004, with the series inspiring six spin-off series.’ In addition, the original series has inspired an animated TV show, three animated films, several video games and a popular card game, which is still incredibly popular now.
