The anticipation for Halo: Campaign Evolved is reaching a fever pitch as it scheduled July 28, 2026 release date rapidly approaches. However, new details have revealed that players can jump into the Halo remake ahead of time, with Early Access that comes with certain editions of the game. Halo: Campaign Evolved Comes With Multiple Days Of Early Access For Certain Editions

Those who purchase the Premium or Collector’s Edition of Halo: Campaign Evolved gain five days of Early Access, allowing them to start playing as soon as July 23, 2026. The exact times are varied depending on your region, but Early Access players all have the full experience of the remake at their disposal far before other players do. For the extra price of the higher editions, players can expect to jump into Campaign Evolved at the following times:

• East Coast (US) – 11:00 AM EDT
• West Coast (US) – 8:00 AM PDT
• United Kingdom – 4:00 PM BST
• Europe – 5:00 PM CEST
• Australia – 1:00 AM AEST

Australia is the only region that has to wait a bit of extra time for Campaign Evolved, as their Early Access time starts on July 24, 2026, instead. Both the Premium and Collector’s Edition come with the same time period length of Early Access, making it easy for players to pre-download the game ahead of its standard launch. For those who have gotten the standard edition of the remake, the times on July 28, 2026, when the game goes live look like this:

Since Halo: Campaign Evolved will also be available on Xbox Game Pass Day 1 as well, players should be able to easily find a place where an early download is possible.

Different Cosmetic Rewards Are Attached To The FPS Remake’s Versions Too

There are other rewards for participating in the Combat Evolved remake’s Early Access too, including a number of cosmetic items for you to equip. The Premium and Collector’s Editions of Campaign Evolved also come with six different weapon skins, which can be applied to certain firearms you use throughout various missions. These are especially interesting visual changes to apply to weapons while you’re playing with friends, as it helps to differentiate your arsenal in comparison to the 1-3 other players you jump into missions with.

At the same time, the Early Access of those editions also comes with armor skins for Master Chief himself, with five different looks that players can apply. Some of these are brightly colored armor for the character, helping you stand out in a squad far more than just using a different weapon skin. Although not everyone is a fan of Halo: Combat Evolved visual design choices, these at least provide an in-game bonus for you spending more money on a bigger version of the remake.

Players can also get a special Foundry Pack bonus cosmetic collection if they pre-order any edition of the remake, gaining access to more skins. The Master Chief has two more skins in the Foundry Pack, while his trusty Assault Rifle weapon also gets the same number of new looks. The rewards themselves may not have a range of diverse options, but those looking to play Halo: Campaign Evolved several days early may want to consider gaining these items through the remake’s Early Access offer.
