2025 has seen its fair share of solid game releases so far, with a few highly anticipated titles still on the way. Some of the top games this year have been breakout indie hits like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Others, like Oblivion Remastered, shadow-dropped into gamers’ hearts. But one indie game charmed fans with challenging puzzles, roguelike elements, and a dash of adventure. And now, that beloved game will finally have a physical release.

The game in question is, of course, none other than breakout puzzle gaming hit Blue Prince. The game launched in April 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Its status as a PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass title helped launch it to massive popularity. But until now, fans haven’t been able to add a physical copy of Blue Prince to their shelves. Thankfully, that’s finally about to change.
Blue Prince Gets Physical Release from iam8bit, Pre-Orders Available Now
After living out several months as a digital-only release, Blue Prince will now be getting its first-ever physical edition. On September 2nd, Dogubomb, Raw Fury, and iam8bit announced a brand-new PS5 exclusive physical edition of Blue Prince. There will be two different editions of the game for PS5: a Retail Edition and an iam8bit Exclusive Edition. Both editions will release on November 21st, just in time for the holidays, with pre-orders for iam8bit exclusive merchandise available starting today.
Blue Prince Retail Edition Details
The retail edition of Blue Prince is available for $34.99. It will come with a physical PlayStation 5 copy of the game, plus a fold-out 18″ by 12″ poster of Mount Holly. This version will be available in various retail outlets soon.
iam8bit Exclusive Edition Details
For those who want a bit more of a Collector’s Edition, the iam8bit Exclusive Edition of Blue Prince takes things up a notch. This edition also costs $34.99, but comes with a few extra bonuses. It includes the physical game for PS5 and the Mount Holly Poster, but also comes in an exclusive O-Sleeve. Plus, Gamers who pre-order their copy will also get a special code to download the game’s official soundtrack for free.
Blue Prince Collectibles
In addition to the two different physical editions of Blue Prince, iam8bit’s website has several new collectible items for fans. The new collectible items on offer include:
- The Red Prince Picture Book – $29.99
- Blue Prince Keychain Blind Bag, Series 1 – $14.99
- 1:1 Scale Accurate Replica of the Basement Key from Blue Prince – $46.00
- Blue Prince Mount Holly and the Rogue Moon Pin Set – $19.99

To get all of these, as well as the iam8bit Exclusive Edition, Blue Prince fans can order the Blue Prince Commissary Bundle for a grand total of $149.99. Each collectible is also available to pre-order separately for the prices indicated above.
With the exception of the Retail Edition, which will arrive in stores, everything is up for pre-order via the iam8bit website. Items all ship on November 21st, so you can get a head start on holiday gifting with this one.
