Epic Games Store Gives Away its Best Free Games So Far for July 2023

The Elder Scrolls Online and Murder by Numbers are free on EGS for the next week.

The Epic Games Store has made two games completely free for the next week on its PC storefront. Following a strong month of June when it comes to free offerings, EGS has had a pretty weak July, primarily due to the fact that many of the titles that have been given out have been lesser known. Fortunately, Epic is now looking to close out July 2023 on a strong note with its latest round of freebies.

Starting today, July 20, and lasting until next week on July 27, both Murder by Numbers and The Elder Scrolls Online will be entirely free to add to your own digital library. First released back in 2020, Murder by Numbers is a puzzle adventure game that has been met with a fair amount of acclaim from those that have played it. It also comes from Mediatonic, which is the same studio behind Fall Guys

As for The Elder Scrolls Online, this is easily the biggest game of the week that's free on the Epic Store. The long-running MMO has continued to be supported by Bethesda with new updates and expansions since first releasing back in 2014. Now, for those that have never given ESO a shot, the MMO has finally come to the Epic Games Store and with its base version being completely free to experience.
