Fixing up a crazy inventor is proving harder than usual for Riot Games and League of Legends. The little fella' has been unused for the most part as his play rate sits at the low mark of 0.39%. His win rate doesn't inspire many to play as that's only 48.65, among the bottom 15 percentile in that category.

Heimer's kit has been criticized as one-dimensional. His turrets don't scale well at all and people tend to forget they're even there. When you use his ult, you usually immediately smash R and then Q because the other combinations leave a lot to be desired. The changes planned by Riot have Heimerdinger's turrets in a position to become more useful throughout the game. One of the big changes has to be the ability to hold three turrets at a time as well as the +30% AP scaling ratio. They're also making his ultimate grenade a little more enticing to use. General:

  • Base HP Regen lowered from 2.2016 to 1.4
  • HP Regen Per level lowered from .35 to .11

Passive - Hextech Affinity:

    • [New] Moves 20% faster around SR turrets and his own turrets - 300 Range

Q - H-28G Evolution Turret:

  • Base Damage adjusted from 12/18/24/30/36 (+15% AP) to 6/9/12/15/18 (+30% AP)
  • Cooldown adjusted from 24 - 20 to 20
  • Amount of turrets held adjusted from 1/2/2/3/3 to 3
  • Beam attack time to charge increased from 16 to 90
  • Mana bar (for beam attack) changed from blue to white (instead of having a blue bar on top of another blue bar).
  • Turret beam damage lowered from 60/80/100/120/140 to 40/60/80/100/120

W - Hextech Micro-Rockets:

  • Mana Cost adjusted from 70/80/90/100/110 to 50/60/70/80/90
  • Cooldown adjusted from 11 to 11/10/9/8/7
  • [New] Each rocket hit on champions charges 20% of each nearby turret's beam attack.

E - CH-2 Electron Storm Grenade:

  • Grenade hitbox increased from 210 to 250
    • (stun hitbox stays the same)
  • Cooldown adjusted from 18/16/14/12/10 to 12
  • [New] A successful E hit on a champion charges all nearby turrets to full beam charge.

R+E - UPGRADE!!! CH-3X Lightning Grenade:

  • Base Damage adjusted from 150/200/250 to 150/250/350
