There are a couple of champions that are in the works according to League of Legends' lead champion producer Reav3, and while he didn't want to give away too many details about what Riot Games team is working on, he did recently talk about one in particular that he says will be quite comfortable dishing out some damage in the jungle.

"I'm not going to go over all of the champions in production (spoilers), just the one that has been infesting my mind lately — a new carry champion that we think will perform well in the jungle," Reav3 said as he talked about a new champ under a subheading that read "A Shadow On The Horizon."

He mentioned Ivern when talking about the upcoming champ and discussed the the Green Father's playstyle in the jungle, but he said that the new champ will definitely be nothing like the most recent support-oriented jungler.

"After Ivern, we wanted to try our hand at a more aggressive, damage-focused champion that should feel at home in the jungle," Reav3 continued.

We've already got some pretty aggressive junglers now, but one of the more interesting parts of Reav3's discussion talked about some of the mechanics of the upcoming jungler. He said that this new champ will be a transformation-based champ similar to Gnar, but the transformation process looks like it'll be a bit different this time around.

"They will also be our first transformation champion since Gnar, but this take on transformation will be unlike any champion we have ever made," he said. "I don't want to say much more than that for now, but keep an eye out for more info soon."

Posted beneath his message about keeping "an eye out" was a big picture of an eye, shown above, a creepy-looking image that bears some resemblance to the Void champions, a juxtaposition that's certainly no coincidence. We haven't seen a champ from the Void for awhile now, so it makes sense that it'd be about that time to have another one released.

He ended the post by saying that they'd be deciding on which champ will receive a VGU after Evelyn soon, but he later gave a list of champs who he thought could be strong contenders for the update in another post.
