The Xbox Store has a new ‘buy one, get two free’ sale that includes over 300 different Xbox games, including Xbox One games and Xbox Series X games. This is not the first sale of this variety on the Xbox Store, but with 373 games featured, it is the biggest one of these sales to date. That said, the promotional sale is only live until September 23, which is this coming Tuesday. And considering there are only a few of these sales each year, this could very well be the last one of 2025, especially since they don’t typically happen during the holiday season as the digital storefront is flooded with other promotional sales.

Those after new 2025 games or big AAA releases will find this new Xbox Store sale insufficient, as it is primarily indie games and not brand-new ones at that. To this end, there isn’t a single game included that costs over $30. This is how every ‘buy one, get two free’ Xbox Store sale has worked before it, and this will presumably be the standard going forward with every subseqeunt sale.
All 373 Xbox Games
While there aren’t any brand new releases or major AAA games, there are some noteworthy games, including some critically-acclaimed games. For example, both Inside and its predecessor, Limbo are included. Inside, in particular, is one of the best games of all time, as is The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season, which is also included. One of 2024’s highest-rated games, Kill Knight, also features as game that shouldn’t be missed.
The full list of games can be seen here. There are quite a number of other noteworthy games, including one game we are awarded a perfect 5/5 score in our offciail review of it: Arise: A Simple Story.
One thing that is important to note is the sale can not be viewed via browser, only via an Xbox console. In addition to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Xbox One games are also included so it doesn’t matter what Xbox console you have, as long as it’s one from either the current generation or the previous generation.
All of that said, and as always, feel free to leave a comment letting us know what you think or join the conversation over on the ComicBook Forum. What Xbox games are you planning on picking up from this Xbox Store sale?
