My palms are sweating right now. This is R-rated epic. I was skeptic about R-rated Wolverine movie but 5 minutes in, I'm all in.— Brandon Davis (@BrandonDavisBD) December 8, 2016

We'll leave it to Comicbook.com's Brandon Davis to sum up what many are saying about Logan's achievement of R-rated status:
HOLY R-RATED LOGAN SHIT MY GOD
— Brandon Davis (@BrandonDavisBD) December 8, 2016
Alright, well the language is a little much for a Wolverine movie. But the violence was really cool. The R-rating does give it a fresh take.— Brandon Davis (@BrandonDavisBD) December 8, 2016
Prof. Xavier's Blunt Talk
It seems tha Patrick Stewart's Prof. Xavier will be borrowing verbal cues from the actor's other big role right now: Walter Blunt on Starz' Blunt Talk!
First act of #Logan is tremendous. Plus, I've now heard Professor X say "fuck" or some variation of it at least five times.— Scott Collura (@ScottCollura) December 8, 2016
True Grit Western
Industry writer Kristy Puchko compares Logan to a gritty western like True Grit. Rebecca Pahle of Pajiba agrees:
#Logan... doesn't really feel like an X-Men movie. Mean that in a good way. More of a Western/Mad Max Fury Road vibe.— Rebecca Pahle (@RebeccaPahle) December 8, 2016
Paul Shirley assures worried fans that X-23 will be badass in Logan. Heroic Hollywood's Leon Brill agrees:
X-23 absolutely steals the show. Best X-Men character since Deadpool. #Logan— Leon Brill (@LeonBrill) December 8, 2016

Logan takes place in the year 2024, where mutant births have become extremely rare. The defenders of mutant kind, the X-Men, are long gone, and the only remains of them are an old and struggling Charles Xavier and a weary Logan. Logan's vaunted healing factor has slowed, and at times doesn't seem to work at all. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more. His job isn't over yet.
Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
