The Avengers: Infinity War teaser has long been expected to make its theatrical debut attached to Star Wars, but if a new report proves correct, fans won't have to wait for The Last Jedi to get a taste of Marvel Studios' upcoming superhero epic.

Jeremy Conrad (aka ManaByte), formerly of IGN and Furious Fanboys, is reporting the anxiously-awaited Avengers: Infinity War trailer will hit the internet in early December.

"Looks like the early December Infinity War trailer date is confirmed," Conrad wrote on Twitter Thursday, adding the online debut of the trailer will precede the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi but will accompany the Disney/Lucasfilm blockbuster in theaters. According to Conrad by way of an unnamed source, the trailer will be "online around [December] fourth."

Conrad's follow up comes days after he posted a "totally unconfirmed rumor" saying an Infinity War teaser — emphasis on teaser, and separate from the D23 and San Diego Comic Con footage — would reach the internet in the first week of December before running ahead of The Last Jedi, which opens December 15.

"The exact date for the online release was floating around for a couple days," Conrad wrote in a subsequent tweet. "Was unconfirmed until the leak confirmed the trailer is out there." Conrad added the trailer won't be attached to Disney-Pixar's Coco, in theaters November 22, "like people are thinking."

Earlier today, screenshots from the forthcoming trailer leaked online, offering new looks at Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and more.

Conrad responded to a tweet citing another tweet from November 13 by Parker of SuperBroMovies, who named Monday, December 4 as the drop date. "That's the correct date," Conrad wrote. "Didn't post it because I was asked not to put out the exact day."

As for his unnamed source, Conrad wrote, "It's so funny people demanding someone to out sources and get them fired when they don't want to believe a scoop."

Marvel could either premiere the trailer themselves — as they did with Captain America: Civil War trailer 2, which landed online in the morning of March 10, 2016 — or they could debut the trailer during ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as they have for Marvel's Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Disney previously showed the first Infinity War footage to fans at D23 and then San Diego Comic Con in July, but the footage was tailor made for those events and has not been made available publicly.
