Captain America: Civil War Behind-The-Scenes Video Highlights Spider-Man

Leading up to and even after the release of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel was stingy about releasing official images and footage of Spider-Man making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though that may have more to do with their arrangement with Sony.

Anyway, for the Digital HD and Blu-ray releases, Marvel has included a one-minute behind-the-scenes video featuring Tom Holland and his stunt double prepare for their scenes on and around the Civil War set.

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly-formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity, but after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

The film stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd and Frank Grillo, William Hurt and Daniel Brühl. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee served as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War is now available on Digital HD and will be available on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital SD and VOD September 13! As for Spider-Man: Homecoming, it'll be released on July 7, 2017.
