If 20th Century Fox needs to cast a young version of Wolverine to replace Hugh Jackman, maybe they should look at one of their current stars.
Taron Egerton, star of the Kingsman franchise, is one of Hollywood's rising stars, and he seems ready to take over the X-Men movies if the studio were to call on him.
On his personal Twitter, Egerton posted a picture of his best Wolverine pose, using arrows from his upcoming Robin Hood film as his claws.
The picture is made complete as Egerton strains his face to mimic the perfect Logan look. His attitude in the photo is reminiscent of some of Hugh Jackman's more intense scenes as the character.
Egerton is a talented performer, and he's proven to be successful in carrying comic book adaptations. He's also worked with Logan star Hugh Jackman in the past, as they starred together in Eddie The Eagle.
With all of that in mind, is there a chance that Egerton could eventually take over the Wolverine role? Could he come into the franchise and rebuild the character at a younger age?
If Logan is getting a new actor anytime soon, this photo shows that Taron Egerton could be just the right fit.
