Marvel recently released the critically acclaimed Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Book 1 in graphic novel format, and to celebrate the occasion the company has released a new trailer to catch fans up. Writer Ta-Nehisi Coates shared some insight about the focus of his main character, T'Challa.

"The protagonist can't just exist out of context. It has to be a textured built out, ya know, world. T'Challa has to manage a country. Captain America don't have to do that. Spider-Man don't have to do that. You know, he has to be a head of state, and it's tough. That's the sort of character depth that we are aiming for."

The book is quite good, as we alluded to in our full review. Coates does a wonderful job of making the country of Wakanda just as important as the moniker of Black Panther. You can view the full trailer above, and you can read the official description for the graphic novel below.
