The Internet Reacts To Marvel's Inhumans Trailer
Marvel has finally revealed the first trailer for their anticipated Inhumans series, and the [...]

Lockjaw was one of the highlights of the debut Inhumans trailer, but for some, it's who's around him that's the problem.
That goes for Swapna Krishna, who would rather see another Inhuman make the jump to the small screen for a Lockjaw team up. Krishna said "Watched the Inhumans trailer. Would much rather have a Ms. Marvel/Lockjaw buddy cop comedy."
Who else would love to see that happen?

MEGASheen
A common point contention with the latest Inhumans trailer comes in the form of Medusa's hair. Marvel is going with an actual wig and using CGI when she has to fight, but some aren't crazy about the wig itself.
MEGASheen shared a humorous GIF that puts it all into perspective, saying "Looking at Medusa's wig on the #Inhumans trailer" as a drag queen points and says "Mama, this is garbage."

Heslin
For some, the Inhumans themselves are the weakest part of the series, and it's safe to assume that Heslin felt the same way.
Even after seeing images of the show's main characters, Heslin couldn't seem to get hyped for the series. A teleporting dog though? Well, that was enough to turn the tide.
He wrote "After seeing Inhumans pr still: "Meh. They look real human." After seeing Lockjaw in the trailer: "fuck whatever I just said"

MT
MT (@so_often_empty) didn't think the Inhumans trailer was that bad, but then again he also primed himself by watching another debuting trailer beforehand.
The Rock's team up with Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black Jumanji reboot also released their first trailer today, and that could have had an effect on his reactions.
He said "I didn't think the inhumans trailer looked *that* bad.
But I also watched the jumanjiEXTREMEwhatever trailer first, so maybe it's relative."

Katie
Speaking of positive impressions, MT wasn't the only one who enjoyed the first footage from Marvel's newest series.
In fact, she's looking forward to the series proper and felt like there was enough there to hook fans for the latest addition to Marvel's television universe.
Katie said "I watched the #Inhumans trailer and I think I'm the only person who genuinely liked it and is excited for it."
It's good to see some positive outlooks in this list.

Amanda
Well, that didn't last long now did it?
For Amanda, the trailer left much to be desired, but at least in this case there is one aspect of it she didn't hate, and that was Iwan Rheon's take on the Inhuman Maximus.
His Game of Thrones background inspires some hope, with her saying "alright so the inhumans trailer was....bad. but, I'm hopeful that Iwan Rheon saves this mess."
Surely she isn't alone in that sentiment.

Keh
It's been an active day in the trailer world. Not only did Marvel drop their anticipated Inhumans television series trailer, but new trailers for Netflix's Death Note and The Rock's Jumanji also dropped.
If those all sound great to you then you are probably fine, as you might have found one more enjoyable than the rest. For Twitter user @yooobbba though, all that meant was an easy ride into despair.
What better way to signal your disappointment than with a GIF from Michael Scott. The caption reads:
"New death note trailer"
"New inhumans trailer"
"New jumanji trailer"
With Michael Scott adding "I am dead inside."

Donna Dickens
Marvel has made a big deal of promoting the fact that Inhumans utilized IMAX cameras throughout the production. The premiere will even be shown on IMAX screens.
The quality of the trailer's footage though has been called into question, especially when you consider all the money that went into the technology capturing it.
Donna Dickens hit on this in her post, saying:
ME: Okay, let's watch the #Inhumans trailer.
ME: …
ME: Wow, the IMAX cameras really highlight the shitty quality here.

Before You Go
"After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself."
