Which New Marvel Movies is Fox Releasing Between 2018 and 2021?
Comic book movie fans have been pleasantly surprised by the bold advances that Fox has made in [...]
2018

We already know which X-Men Movies we'll get in 2018 - so this one isn't really that much of a "mystery."
X-Men: The New Mutants (April 13th) - This X-Men spinoff will follow the first graduating class of Charles Xavier's school, who become their own junior X-Men squad. It's being directed by The Fault In Our Stars' Josh Boone, and will star Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams, The Witch's Anya Taylor-Joy, among others. CLICK BELOW for More Info on the Film.
Deadpool 2 (June 1st) - The film that changed the game for Fox is coming back for it's much-anticipated sequel. A director change-up has John Wick co-director David Leitch taking over the helm form Tim Miller, while iconic X-Men characters like Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Atlanta's Zazie Beetz) will be introduced.CLICK BELOW for More Info on the Film
X-Men: Dark Phoenix (November 2nd) - The next X-Men movie will try to take a page from X-Men: Days of Future Past (literally), by trying to take one of the most famous X-Men comic book stories there is, and adapting it into a blockbuster movie hit. The cast of X-Men: Apocalypse (Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner) will all be returning, while Jessica Chastain may be joining the cast as alien queen, Lilandra. Longtime franchise producer Simon Kinberg is stepping up to direct.
Each of these 2018 X-Men movies will add another fantastical piece to the larger X-Universe, opening the door even wider for bigger films to follow in the subsequent years....

What could Marvel movies could Fox be releasing in 2019? There's two likely candidates:
X-Force - With Cable and Domino being introduced in Deadpool 2, the natural progression would be to have them (and other new characters) shift into the full X-Force team movie, like their comic book counterparts. X-Force has been in development at Fox for years, and has getting closer and closer to production. It's previously been revealed that Deadpool 2 is, in part, an X-Force setup story, so it's a pretty safe guess that the team film will be Fox's 2019 tentpole, with Josh Brolin leading the way.
Gambit - The Gambit movie has been in development for years now, with Channing Tatum already cast in the titular lead role of Gambit. The project recently suffered a setback when Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman dropped out of directing, but with Simon Kinberg staring early this year that the film is "in active development," getting another director, and cameras rolling, shouldn't be an impossible goal for 2018. Channing Tatum's slate is currently pretty much clear for 2018 - meaning that a Gambit announcement could be coming soon... perhaps at Comic-Con 2016?

Deadpool 3 - It's easy to assume that Fox won't let the iron cool on the Deadpool franchise, and will get the third Deadpool movie into production in 2019 (a year of the Deadpool 2's release) and into theaters for 2020.
Fantastic Four Re-Reboot - It was recently rumored that Fox is working on a way to once again reboot the Fantastic Four franchise, after Josh Trank's 2015 film put a serious dent in the franchise. 2020 will be half a decade since the release of Trank's film - just enough time to relaunch the property under a new creative vision. With only two Marvel properties in the studio's possession, it's doubtful they will let it slide into total irrelevance (or hand it back to Marvel).
*New Solo Character Film - Since Hugh Jackman walked away from Wolverine, Fox needs a new solo character franchise to bank on. Possibilities are wide-ranging: Josh Brolin's Cable sould definitely support his own solo film; there's been longstanding talk of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique getting her own solo film spinoff; and if Fox is hoping to go back to similar well of profits there's Laura/X-23, the breakout character of this year's Logan who could inherit the Wolverine movie mantle, just like her comic book counterpart has.

Untitled X-Men Sequel - This date would be when we expect to see the next big installment of the main X-Men movie line. While it could definitely arrive in 2020, getting the massive ensemble cast together for another event film in the much-more expanded X-Men movie universe is a challenge that will take a few years of breathing room to accomplish.
New Mutants is gearing up for production this year, and is set to bow in theaters on April 13, 2018. Deadpool 2 will follow that up on June 1, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix on November 2nd.
