Funko's baseball Pop figures aren't our usual beat, but we'll make an exception for the film A League of Their Own. It's been 27 years to the day since the classic comedy about the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League hit theaters, which is all the excuse Funko needs to finally bring Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) Pop figures into the world.
You can pre-order the Dotte Pop figure here and the Jimmy Pop figure here with shipping slated for September. Presumably, if these do well, Pop figures based on Kit, Doris, Mae, and more will follow so we can put the whole Rockford Peaches team together.
In other Funko news, brand new Marvel and Harry Potter Pocket Pop advent calendars for the 2019 Christmas season were announced last week. Naturally, the full details on the new Marvel and Harry Potter versions are being kept under wraps to preserve the surprise, but it's clear from the images on the product page that the Harry Potter version has a Yule Ball holiday theme. As for the Marvel version, it seems as though a classic theme is in the works with Iron Man, Thanos, Captain Marvel, Venom, Rocket Raccoon, and Captain Marvel Pocket Pops in the set of 24.
In addition to advent calendars, Funko and Amazon have teamed up to release some Prime Day exclusive Pops, and this Deluxe Star Wars Millennium Falcon with Han Solo Pop figure is the crown jewel. It measures a whopping 5.5" tall, 10.5" wide and 13.25" long, which ranks it among the largest figures that Funko has ever produced.
