Marvel may be the studio most notorious for teasing future films after the credits, but the Fast & Furious franchise has used the tactic plenty of times as well. Not only did they contain the post-credits scenes, but the Furious franchise has often included enormous plot twists after the a film concludes.

If you recall, it was revealed that Letty was still alive in the scene that followed Fast Five. After Fast & Furious 6, fans got introduced to Deckard Shaw, and learned he was the man behind Han’s death. Furious 7 didn’t include one of these scenes, but that was largely due to the Paul Walker tribute that ended the film.

The film’s ending does a pretty good job of setting up the next film in the franchise, so another scene wasn’t exactly necessary. However, fans will still be disappointed to know that there’s nothing else awaiting them after that long credits sequence.

Now, the one thing to remember is that this could change when the film hits theaters across the country on Thursday night. The early screenings of Fate didn’t contain one, but those things can change when the movie gets its wide release. When Logan was screened to press, it was nothing but the actual film. However, upon its wide release, a pre-credits scene featuring Deadpool was added.
