In Star Wars: Darth Vader #24, Darth Vader’s end game is in motion, but things aren’t quite going according to plan. The Darl Lord of the Sith sent the murderous droids Beetee and Triple Zero to capture Vader’s former ally, the rogue archaeologist Doctor Aphra. However, Aphra managed to turn the droids’ programming against them, and they helped her escape instead. However, just as Aphra seemed to be in the clear, a new plan came to her.
Meanwhile, Vader himself has tracked down the traitorous scientist Cylo with plans to end his threat once and for all. However, Cylo caught Vader off guard, hitting him with a kill switch that shut down Vader’s essential cybernetic implants. Now Vader is trapped within his own mind, and Cylo seems to have the upper hand.
