By far one of the biggest licences in Funko’s line of products is Star Wars. With a consistent slate of new films plotted out over the next few years, the Star Wars universe has an ever-increasing backlog of characters waiting to be immortalized in Funko’s classic Pop! Vinyl form.

While Funko previously released a large wave of figures in anticipation of last December’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, many realized that one member of the film’s main crew was missing from the line – cargo pilot Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed). The company had hinted that a figure of him would hit shelves eventually, and now it appears that he will finally become a reality.

Earlier today, Funko asked its Twitter followers if there were any Rogue One figures that people still wanted made. After receiving several answers advocating for Bodhi, the company unveiled a first look at the concept art for a Pop! of the character.

There is no indication of when the Pop! will be available, and whether or not it will be available in multiple stores or exclusive to a particular retailer. But if you’re a fan of Bodhi’s character, or just looking to complete your Star Wars Funko set, definitely keep an eye out for this one.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, it’s the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core “Skywalker Saga” of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star.

The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: “Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.”
