Despite being one of the most popular characters in Star Wars lore, Boba Feat has had few significant moments over the course of three films. He watched helplessly as a Jedi killed his dad, got hit in the jetpack by a blind guy sending him flying into a Sarlacc pit, and was a glorified chauffeur for Jabba the Hutt and Darth Vader.

But he still has one of the most bad ass character designs in the entire Star Wars universe and, if you’re willing to dive deeper than the cinematic portrayals, has actually played a part in some significant stories.
One of his most significant roles came in The Clone Wars series of cartoons where the role was reprised by a young Daniel Logan, who played the character in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
The show featured Fett attempted to gain his revenge on the Jedi, teaming up with Bossk and Aurra Sing to exact vengeance on Mace Windu.
Logan is now 30 years old, old enough to play a mature Boba Fett in a Star Wars spinoff movie (hint hint, Lucasfilm) and recently posted a picture of himself receiving a set of custom Mandalorian armor similar to his bounty hunter alter ego.

The actor certainly looks the part and could fill in for Temuera Morrison depending on when the film is set in the timeline. So if Lucasfilm is looking to cast the role of a Young Boba Fett, they’d do well to look at Logan who already has precedent with the role.
Maybe even have the character collided with Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi in a potential spinoff film? We’re just spitballing here. We’ll let Kathleen Kennedy make that decision.
The next film in the saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, will premiere in theaters December 15.
