A few years ago Disney recreated their infamous trip through the Star Wars Universe with Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at their Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks.

The new ride allowed visitors to ride along the Star Tours transport alongside R2-D2 and C-3PO with a randomized adventure. Fans can travel to Coroscant, Hoth, and Tatooineโnot to mention a possible encounter with Darth Vaderโwhile everyone’s favorite golden protocol droid curses at his astromech companion for putting the vacationers in repeated danger.
And after the addition of the Millennium Falcon’s battle with a TIE Fighter in the skies of the junkyard planet of Jakku in promotion of the Force Awakens, fans can expect another possible location to visit in the lead up to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels, who recorded all of his character’s dialogue for the ride, hinted that he’s working on the latest update to the ride which will take park visitors to the Resistance outpost based on the planet Crait.
Extremely thrilling! Yesterday I flew to Crait. One day soon you will be able to fly there too because the adventures continue to continue.

UP NEXT: Rumor: Luke Skywalker’s Last Jedi Gear Could Be Important
Crait was rumored and then revealed in the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and later confirmed by director Rian Johnston. It is said to be a base for the heroes going up against the First Order with roots dating back to the time of the Rebellion against the Galactic Empire.
It is also believed to be the location of a huge battle in the film, as evidenced by the speeders going up against the First Order’s walkers in the trailer and now further hinted at by its appearance in Star Tours, which was confirmed at Star Wars Celebration.
The scenes in Star Tours only take place in big battles, such as the Hoth scene from Empire Strikes Back and the battle over and on the surface of Naboo in The Phantom Menace. It’s not like C-3PO is going to get upset because you visited a quiet planet like Bespin.
Hopefully we learn more about the addition to Star Tours in the coming months so we can start booking our trip.
