Batman fans have quite a bit to be happy about these days across the realms of movies, TV, and comics. That includes the anticipated The Batman Part II from Matt Reeves, as well as the hit Penguin series and Batman: Caped Crusader also making a splash in the TV and streaming space. There’s also the stellar new Batman relaunch from DC Comics, but now there’s one more Batman show addition to that mix, courtesy of Prime Video, and it’s bringing along 2 of the Dark Knight’s most iconic villains.

Prime Video has revealed the first look at its new Batman animated series titled BAT-FAM, which will debut in November and looks delightful. The series is a new half-hour action-comedy featuring the Batman Family and some of Batman’s biggest villains, including Ra’s al Ghul and Man-Bat. You can check out the first images of the show below, but it gets even better, as BAT-FAM features a truly stacked voice cast as well.

This will actually be the second entry in this world, with the first being the well-received Merry Little Batman film. Several voices from the original movie will be returning for BAT-FAM, including Luke Wilson as Bruce Wayne, Yonas Kibreab as Damian Wayne, and James Cromwell as Alfred Pennyworth, but there are new cast additions as well.
Those include the additions of Haley Tju as Claire, London Hughes as Alicia Pennworth, Michael Benyaer as Ra’s al Ghul, and Bobby Moynihan as Man-Bat. Prime Video also teased that the ensemble cast will include Reid Scott, Natasha Leggero, Diedrich Bader, and Kevin Michael Richardson as well, though they didn’t reveal any characters for them just yet. You can find all of the revealed cast and their descriptions below.
The Cast of BAT-FAM

Batman/Bruce Wayne (Luke Wilson) is the same overachieving perfectionist weโve known for decades, only now he is also a doting dad with a new family and a beard to boot. And while The Worldโs Greatest Detective is still cracking the mysteries of family life, no amount of his newfound soft side can completely mask his broody nature that still brings chills down the spines of Gotham Cityโs worst criminals.
Little Batman/Damian Thomas Wayne (Yonas Kibreab), only son of Bruce Wayne, is the hyper-intelligent, hyperactive grade-schooler who cannonballs into anything he deems a righteous cause. The only thing that excites him more than following in his dadโs footsteps as a masked vigilante administering bone-cracking justice, is his new family and his dadโs big bat-hugs.
Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth (James Cromwell) is the butler of Wayne Manor whose stiff-upper-lip is a bit saggier these days. Now, as the patriarchal anchor for not just Bruce and Damian, but an entire quartet of new quirky family members, he relishes in more responsibility than ever and remains determined to keep Wayne Manor tip-top while defending its honor as if it were his very own.

Claire (Haley Tju) is the former Super-Villain, Volcana, who has become Bruce Wayneโs newest ward after an accident in the Lazarus Pit transformed her into a 12-year-old girl. Donโt be fooled by her guise of sarcasm and cynicism, deep down sheโs grown fond of her new family and has found solace in her role as Damianโs big sister.
Alicia Pennyworth (London Hughes) is Alfred’s grandniece and one of Bruce Wayne’s only friends from childhood. When sheโs not spreading her unique blend of sincerity, compassion, and infectious positivity around the Manor, she can be found at her new job as a social worker rehabilitating former supervillains in an organization she founded called E*Vil.
Raโs al Ghul (Michael Benyaer) is the former criminal mastermind of the deadly League of Shadows whoโs much more domesticated after a magical mishap essentially turned him into a ghost. Now with all bite and no teeth, he haunts Wayne Manor with his petty desire to be in charge while fawning over his beloved grandson, Damian.
Man-Bat (Bobby Moynihan) is the eccentric and disheveled former scientist turned mutant-bat-creature who lives in Wayne Manorโs belfry. When heโs not playing video games or foraging the fridge for leftovers, heโs quick to offer his family quirky unsolicited advice like it is ancient Greek philosophy.
What Is BAT-FAM

BAT-FAM follows the adventures of Batman, Damian (now also Little Batman), and Alfred as they welcome new residents into Wayne Manor. Some of those new residents include Alfred’s grandniece Claire, the newly reformed Ra’s al Ghul, and Damian’s “Pap Pap” Man-Bat. Along with their adorable family cat, Selina, they will all navigate being a family in the Manor and still protecting Gotham, and it’s going to be delightful chaos.
BAT-FAM is set to get a spotlight at New York Comic-Con on Saturday, October 11th, which will take place in the Javits Center, room 405, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
