Could the Cowboy be headed back to NXT? It’s quite the possibility after last night’s Impact taping. Now, do consider a grain or salt or two with this as it could definitely be a work, but anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling.

During the taping, Storm announced that he has fulfilled his obligations to TNA and is officially finished with the company. Storm also hinted that we could see him down the road with an “old friend” of his. That was an allusion to NXT’s Bobby Roode, who Storm partnered with for years as part of Beer Money, Inc.

Now, the fact that TNA retweeted the situation could mean it’s all part of some storyline, but since it was a “dark segment”, it wouldn’t pertain to any story anyways as stuff like this usually isn’t canon, per se.
If we do find Storm in NXT, it would be his second time around as the former TNA World Champion showed up on WWE’s developmental territory last October, but it was only for a moment before resigning with TNA for apparently exponentially more money.
