The WWE finished the PPV year with what felt like a really good episode of Monday Night RAW. In a series of mostly rematches, WWE Roadblock did manage to give us two title changes and one very clear reunion between 2 of the 3 hounds of justice, aka The Shield.

Charlotte put an end to her feud with Sasha Banks in an exciting sudden death Ironman match. A former NXT star breathed much needed life into the cruiserweight division and the long and winding championship reign of the New Day finally came to an end. While Roman Reigns was not able to become the first ever co-Universal and United States champion, he did contract his former architect, Seth Rollins, for a fun round of good ol’ fashioned double powerbombing through tables to end the show.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the night’s event.

Sheamus and Cesaro Win

Sheamus and Cesaro kicked off the night by dethroning the New Day.

Zayn survives

Sami proved he was worthy of hanging with Braun Strowman, well, at least for 10 minutes.

Neville Returns

Finally, a cruiserweight gave fans something to care about.

IronWoman Match

It wasn’t their best match, but hey, round of applause for what these women have done.

Shield destroy Jericho/Owens

Pittsbrugh may have burned to the ground if Roman walked out with both championships. The ending we got instead was in a word, special.
