Fire Force Season 3 Trailer Heats Up for the Anime’s 2026 Return

Fire Force is coming back for its final episodes next year, and the anime is heating up ahead of its 2026 return with a new trailer for Season 3! Fire Force returned for its highly anticipated third season of the TV anime earlier this year, but even more importantly kicked off the beginning of the end. Fire Force Season 3 serves as the final season of the anime overall, and has been split into two distinct parts. The first half of the finale left things off on a massive cliffhanger, so it’s finally time to see what that will mean for the finale.

Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 is one of the major franchises leading off the new year of anime for 2026, and now fans have gotten the first look at what the grand finale will look like in action with the first trailer for the final episodes. Not only teasing fans about what actually happened to Shrina Kusakabe after he fell unconscious when the first Pillar was initially revealing itself, but teasing more of the chaos that will be unfolding before it’s all over. What to Know for Fire Force Season 3’s 2026 Return

Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 will be premiering sometime in January 2026 as part of the Winter 2026 anime schedule kicking off the next year of anime. The final episodes will feature a returning staff and cast from the previous seasons. Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 will be bringing back Tatsumi Minamikawa from the second season to direct the final season for David Production with Sei Tsuguta writing the scripts, and Mika Yamamoto handling the character designs. Yoshihiro Yoshioka, Mariko Kubo, and Yumenosuke Tokuda serve as chief animation directors.

There has yet to be a concrete release date revealed for the anime’s grand finale as of this time, but it has been confirmed that Fire Force Season 3 Part 2 will be streaming its episodes exclusively with Crunchyroll alongside their initial premiere in Japan. If you wanted to catch up with the anime in the meantime, you can find all of its episodes streaming with Crunchyroll as well with both Japanese and English language audio available. It’s probably a good idea to do so considering the first half of the final season made some wild reveals.

How Will Fire Force Season 3 End?

Fire Force Season 3 ended on the anime’s biggest cliffhanger to date. With the Great Cataclysm now at hand, Shinra and the rest of the active Fire Force members have been trying everything to stop the White Clad before the worst comes to pass. But it seems like there’s going to be no real way to stop it, and Shinra himself might have been contributing to the trouble in an unwilling way. Which all leads to that final cliffhanger from the first half of the season too.

Shinra discovered an entirely different kind of world that looked like our own, and it was implied that this is what their world looked like before the Great Cataclysm from before. This has raised so many questions about what could really be going on, but thankfully the Fire Force anime is already set to return next year and answer all of these questions once and for all.
