While it was confirmed a few months ago that Michael Pena will be back for the franchise’s second outing, we now know that another one of Scott Lang’s scene-stealing friends will also return.

David Dastmalchian, who played the Russian hacker Kurt in 2015’s Ant-Man, hinted at his return during an interview on the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 red carpet.

“Well, I don’t know if Peyton [Reed, director of the franchise] has made it to the carpet yet,” Dastmalchian explained to Entertainment Tonight, “but Peyton Reed is here. I just got a change to speak with him the other day and it sounds like Kurt is going to be returning to Ant-Man’s world and will be appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp. We are very, very, very excited.”

In the time since Ant-Man’s release, Dastmalchian has certainly been keeping busy. Just looking at the comic book world, the actor recently did a stint on Fox’s Batman prequel series Gotham, as well as a well-received portrayal of Abra Kadabra on CW’s The Flash.

Joining Dastmalchian in Ant-Man and the Wasp will be Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily as the title roles, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, and Michael Pena as Luis.
