If you didn't already think the cast and crew of Guardians Of The Galaxy have an absolute blast together, James Gunn's latest photo is sure to convince you.
The Guardians director posted a picture of the cast on social media Wednesday morning, and they look like the happiest group of co-workers you've ever seen.
Along with the photo, Gunn shared the specific memory with fans. He stated that the image was captured on the very first day of production on the anticipated sequel. He talked about how much has changed in the last year, and that he can't believe the photo was taken so long ago.
The picture features the three stars of Guardians, whose faces you wll likely recognize. On the left side, Zoe Saldana (Gamora) and Chris Pratt (Peter Quill) are the most familiar faces. On the back right, you'll see former-wrestler Dave Bautista, who portrays Drax The Destroyer.
In the middle, holding a script, is James Gunn himself. Kneeling on the far right, is Sean Gunn. The actor is the brother of the director, and he wears many hats on the Guardians set. Not only does he play one of the Ravagers, but he actually plays the physical part of Rocket Raccoon. The character may be voiced by Bradley Cooper, but Gunn does all of the motion capture work that makes the character come to life.
If this picture is any indication, fans are surely in for a wonderful ride later this year.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by James Gunn (Slither). The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora; Dave Bautista (Spectre) as Drax; Vin Diesel (Furious 7) as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker (Jumper) as Yondu; Karen Gillan (The Big Short) as Nebula; and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls) as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Everest), Chris Sullivan (The Knick, The Drop) and Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight, The Thing).
