The past 24 hours have been hectic ones for the folks behind Marvel's Iron Fist. The highly anticipated series hit New York Comic Con hard with new announcements. Everything from exclusive posters to a full-length trailer was dropped at the event, and now, the star of Iron Fist is sharing a rather touching photo from the convention with fans.

Taking to Instagram, Finn Jones uploaded a photo of himself taking a picture with Stan Lee. The iconic comic book creator attended NYCC this year for the last time as Lee prepares to restrict future convention appearances. However, the writer looked brighter than ever as he posed with Jones who can be seen holding up a clenched fist in true Danny Rand style.

"So this happened as I was leaving," Jones told fans. "The man himself."

The picture was definitely one of the best ways Jones could have ended his crazy appearance at NYCC. The actor greeted attendees last night at a panel dedicated to Marvel's Netflix programming and confirmed shooting on Iron Fist had officially wrapped. He also introduced fans to "some friends" he's been hanging out with before a teaser played for Marvel's The Defenders. He was then joined on stage by Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Sigourney Weaver who announced she'll be playing the team's nemesis.

Of course, the panel's biggest highlight came in the reveal of a full Iron Fist trailer. The action-packed footage confirmed that Madam Goa would star in the series, but fans were understandably too busy watching Danny Rand kick butt to comb through easter eggs at first. Another clip was debuted at NYCC that features Danny mentioning The Hand and his time in K'un-Lun with Crane Mother.

Sadly, the footage hasn't given fans a sneak-peek at Stan Lee's cameo in Iron Fist. The creator is known for his regular cameos in Marvel's on-screen projects, and Lee was determined to star in the company's Netlix titles. He has had small cameos in Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage as a police officer who's often seen on PSA posters. It's likely that Lee will continue that trend in Iron Fist, so fans are getting ready to search through future footage to spot the creator's subtle cameos.

so this happened as i was leaving..the man himself. 😅

Hopefully, fans will also see Lee cameo in Marvel's The Punisher. The show was also touched upon at the NYCC panel last night as Jon Bernthal greeted fans. The actor confirmed that production on the solo series was underway and that Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) would reprise her role from Daredevil in his show.

Daredevil Seasons 1 and 2, Jessica Jones Season 1, and Luke Cage Season 1 are all available on Netflix. Iron Fist will premiere on March 17, 2017 with The Defenders expected later in the year. The Punisher does not have a release date yet.
