Annual MST3K Thanksgiving Marathon Enlists Mark Hamill, Kumail Nanjiani, and More

The annual event will kick off on November 28th at 5 a.m. ET on Shout! TV and The MST3K Channel.

One of the most beloved traditions to take part in every Thanksgiving is the annual Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathon, in which audiences can look back at some of the best installments of the comedy series, with this year being no different. This year’s event, dubbed the “Turkey Day Potluck of the Stars Marathon,” will be bringing in a variety of beloved figures from the pop-culture landscape to join hosts Jonah Ray, Joel Hodgson, and Felicia Day, which includes Mark Hamill, Kumail Nanjiani, David Dastmalchian, and more. Additionally, Shout! Studios has unveiled the schedule of the day’s event, allowing fans to plan around the episodes they’re most looking forward to watching.

Per press release, “Better tidy up the Satellite of Love, because weโ€™ve got company! Join the cast and crew of Mystery Science Theater 3000 as they welcome a cavalcade of celebrity fans to this yearโ€™s Turkey Day celebration. Donโ€™t be late! The fun starts bright and early at 5 a.m. ET on November 28th on Shout! TV and The MST3K Channel.”

“Hosted by Jonah Ray, this yearโ€™s marathon features a heaping helping of MST3K stalwarts including Joel Hodgson, Felicia Day, Emily Marsh, and Mary Jo Pehl, as well as celebrity MSTies David Dastmalchian, Mike Flanagan, Bryan Fuller, Mark Hamill, Matthew Lillard, and Kumail Nanjiani, all of whom will share a favorite MST3K episode with their fellow fans. Plus, the long-awaited return of fan-favorite episode ‘Final Sacrifice’ to the world of streaming will give us even more reason to be thankful this Turkey Day.”

  • 5 p.m. ET: “Samson vs The Vampire Women” [David Dastmalchian]
  • 7 p.m. ET: “Gamera vs Jiger” [Mark Hamill]
  • 9 p.m. ET: “The Final Sacrifice” [Joel Hodgson]
  • 11 p.m. ET: “Manos: The Hands of Fate” [Felicia Day]
