The Simpsons: It’s Going to Be Easier Than Ever to Watch Every Treehouse of Horror

With the spooky season fast approaching, it’s going to be easier than ever for fans to go back and watch every single The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horror” special, in order! The Simpsons is gearing up to return later this weekend with the first episode of a brand new season, and crossing over the Season 37 mark. With their next Treehouse of Horror already gearing up to premiere later this October, there are 35 previous entries that are just waiting to be revisited as we all get ready for the spooky holiday. Now it’s going to be easier than ever before with Disney+.

Disney+ has announced (as reported by The Hollywood Reporter) that The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horrors” will be kicking in as one of their 24/7 streaming FAST channel selections with the streaming service. This new channel will be streaming the 35 Treehouse of Horror specials on a constant basis, and will be airing in order. On top of that, the channel is also teasing fans about some special surprises that will be shown throughout the stream as well. So this is going to be the first real time in history that they’ll be shown in order like this.

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Takes Over Disney+

The Simpsons‘ “Treehouse of Horrors” channel will be releasing with Disney+ beginning on September 29th, and teases it will include all 36 Treehouse of Horror specials. It seems to also be including the extra “Treehouse of Horror Presents: Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes” special from Season 36, which was an extra Horror inspired anthology taking on Ray Bradbury’s most famous novels. This special alongside the most recent “Treehouse of Horror XXXV” will also be available for streaming on their own with Disney+ beginning on September 28th after previously only being available with Hulu.

The Simpsons Season 37 is also gearing up to make its return to TV as part of Fox’s Animation Domination block for the Fall 2025 season. Premiering on Sunday, September 28th at 8PM ET, this milestone season will be crossing over the franchise’s 800th episode overall. There are some big guest stars coming in the new season too such as Kieran Culkin, Glenn Howerton, Albert Brooks, Cole Escola, Danny Pudi, Adam Pally, and Brendan and Domhall Gleeson.

What to Know for Treehouse of Horror XXXVI

The Simpsons Season 27 has also started teasing its next major Treehouse of Horror entry as well. Premiering with Fox on Sunday, October 19th, Treehouse of Horror XXXVI, the new special teases its new stories with a synopsis reading, “the town is menaced by a mysterious murdering monster from out of the sewers, Krusty has a demonic special guest on his live Halloween special, and we go a thousand years into Springfield’s poseable plastic post-apocalyptic future.”

Guest stars for the new Halloween special include Idris Elba, Ike Barinholtz, Viola Davis, and Michael Keaton, so it’s already sounding like a great new addition to the annual anthology series. With so many potential Treehouse of Horror specials to go back and enjoy, it’s the perfect way to get into the Halloween holiday spirit.
