Lana Breakdances After NXT Live Show Victory

Lana is known more for her role of manager to WWE’s Rusev (her husband outside of Kayfabe), but she is setting out on an NXT tour for a little while, and the first part of that tour took place last night.

At an NXT live show in St. Petersburg, the ravishing Russian took on Mary Dobson and was reportedly quite over with the crowd as a babyface.After some back and forth she managed to put her opponent away with a fisherman’s spine buster (known as a Lana Bomb). It was a pretty solid showing, especially considering that Lana doesn’t get much time in the ring to actually wrestle (the last time was back on June 26th). She wasn’t content with just walking out of the ring after her victory.

She wasn’t content with just walking out of the ring after her victory, though, so the audience was graced with a little dancing after the match. She went into full breakdance mode (via CageSideSeats), and JJ Williams of Wrestling Observer caught a few pics (and a nice GIF) of the performance.

You might assume that her matches here are prep for some upcoming television time on RAW, and you would be partly right. The matches are reportedly to improve her ability to take bumps in the ring, so its most likely part of an upcoming angle for her and Rusev as opposed to a singles match. Lana and Rusev have been working with Enzo Amore lately, so it might just be a progression of that.
