There’s one major Summer 2025 anime finally coming to Netflix, and it will be launching with an English dub to reach the widest audience possible. The Summer 2025 anime schedule has been one of the most stacked seasons of the year thus far as there have been not only blockbuster franchises returning for new episodes, but many franchises making their debut for the first time. Netflix has been the home to some of the major standout releases thus far as fans have been glued to the streamer, but there’s one highly anticipated series that has yet to fully make its premiere.

The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity has been one of the major standouts of the Summer, but unfortunately has only been streaming in Japan for the past few months. That’s going to change very soon, however, as the anime will finally be making its worldwide debut on September 7th, and it will be streaming with an English dub release as well. The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity English Dub Comes to Netflix
The anime adaptation for Saka Mikami’s The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity has been airing its new episodes in Japan through the Summer, but it unfortunately hit a bit of a snag for its launch in North America. While it previously confirmed that the anime would be launching with an English dub, it was also revealed that it would not release until September 7th, months after the anime had started airing in Japan. But while this has been a surprising wait, at least fans of the new anime series will be treated to the best first impression possible when the anime kicks off its worldwide release.
The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity will be premiering with its first two episodes, and they will feature both the Japanese and English language audio upon launch. The episodes will then be released on a weekly basis after, so fans will finally get the chance to check it all out for themselves after hearing so much praise from fans in Japan through the past few months. It’s one of the major anime releases CloverWorks is airing this Summer alongside My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 and Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus, so worldwide fans can finally complete the trifecta.
What Is The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity?
Originally created by Saka Mikami for Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket, The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity tells a story of a romance between two completely different kinds of worlds. With a boy attending a school for delinquents and a girl from its neighboring private school, the anime reveals that the two can see each other on a much different level. Helping in this regard is the creative team behind the adaptation as well as the series is directed by Miyuki Kuroki for studio CloverWorks.
Rino Yamazaki is overseeing the scripts for the series, Kohei Tokuoka is designing the characters, and Moeki Harada will be composing the music. The opening theme song is titled “Manazashi wa Hikari” as performed by Tatsuya Kitani, and the ending theme song is titled “Hare no Hi ni” as performed by Ushio Reira. The voice cast includes the likes of Yoshinori Nakayama as Rintaro Tsumugi, Honoka Inoue as Kaoroko Waguri, Kikunosuke Toya as Shohei Usami, Koki Uchiyama as Saku Natsusawa, Hiiro Ishibashi as Ayato Yorita, and Aya Yamane as Subaru Hoshina. But the English dub cast has yet to be announced at this time.
