The Young Avengers have long been rumored for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and these ten powerful heroes would create the perfect line-up for the team. Marvel Studios has been teasing the formation of a live-action Young Avengers team for some time, with the introduction of many child and teenage heroes setting up a brilliant roster. While there’s no word on when the Young Avengers will actually come together, they have already been teased in the MCU, so it would be brilliant to see these young heroes join forces.

Throughout the history of the MCU, we’ve seen many different superhero teams come together, including several iterations of Avengers teams, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, and more. More teams are on the way, including the rumored Midnight Sons, the X-Men, and, of course, the Young Avengers. So far, three members of the Young Avengers have been officially teased in the MCU, but several more heroes could join them.
10) Kamala Khan’s Ms. Marvel

Iman Vellani debuted as Kamala Khan in 2022’s Ms. Marvel, and made the move to the big-screen in 2023’s The Marvels, which ended with her teasing the formation of the Young Avengers team. As a mutant with hard-light abilities and team-working experience, Kamala would be a fantastic leader for the Young Avengers team, despite not being the oldest possible member. Vellani has not yet been confirmed to be reprising the role of Ms. Marvel in live-action, but she will be a central member of the Young Avengers, following in the footsteps of her Marvel Comics counterpart.
9) Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye

At the end of The Marvels, Hailee Steinfeld made a cameo appearance as Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye when she was approached by Kamala Khan about possibly forming the Young Avengers. Bishop debuted in 2021’s Hawkeye series and became the new sharp-shooting hero of the MCU after being mentored by Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner). She would be the oldest member of the Young Avengers, and therefore may be the team’s perfect leader, though it’s unclear when Bishop will return. Bishop could become one of the most important new heroes in the MCU if she returns as a Young Avenger.
8) Cassie Lang’s Stature

Cassie Lang is the most-established possible Young Avengers member in the MCU, as she debuted back in 2015’s Ant-Man as the daughter of Scott Lang’s titular size-changing hero (Paul Rudd). She was originally played by Abby Ryder-Fortson, then briefly by Emma Fuhrmann before Kathryn Newton took on the role for 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Newton was given the role so that Cassie Lang could have a more prominent role in the MCU with a more notable star, so it would be brilliant to see her return, perhaps alongside her father, Ant-Man, who has been confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday.
7) Riri Williams’ Ironheart

Marvel Studios’ most recent Disney+ series established Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams as a more prominent hero after her debut in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. 2025’s Ironheart series developed Riri in some brilliant ways, though perhaps set her up as the perfect villain for the Young Avengers team, now that she has struck a deal with Mephisto (Sacha Baron Cohen). Riri Williams currently has the powerful Hood, so could be an antagonist to the Young Avengers, but could then switch sides to fight alongside the new superhero team โ maybe even opposing Mephisto himself.
6) Billy Maximoff’s Wiccan

Originally brought to life by Julian Hilliard in WandaVision, Joe Locke became Billy Maximoff in his reincarnated form in Agatha All Along. The 2024 series marked Maximoff’s official transformation into Wiccan, with similar mental and reality warping abilities to his mother, the Scarlet Witch. Wiccan’s next steps after Agatha All Along may see him meet the reincarnated form of his brother alongside the ghost of Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), which could set them both up as perfect members of the Young Avengers team. They are on the team in Marvel Comics, so they could be the MCU team’s strongest members.
5) Tommy Maximoff’s Speed

If Billy Maximoff is included in the Young Avengers team, he should be joined by his twin brother, Tommy. Jett Klyne brought Tommy Maximoff to life in WandaVision, but the speedster hero will be played by someone new in the MCU’s future. This new actor hasn’t yet been announced, but many suspect Ruaridh Mollica may be playing the reincarnated version of Tommy Maximoff’s Speed in 2026’s upcoming Vision Quest. We saw Tommy get reincarnated in Agatha All Along, now inhabiting the body of a drowned boy, but we’ve yet to see the aftermath of this.
4) America Chavez

Xochitl Gomez made her MCU debut in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the only version of America Chavez in the entire multiverse. Born in the Utopian Parallel, Chavez has the ability to travel across the multiverse, which makes her an essential inclusion in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars at the end of the Multiverse Saga. These projects could introduce her to a number of other formidable young heroes, making her a wonderful Young Avengers candidate โ especially after getting command over her powers and getting magical training in Kamar-Taj in Multiverse of Madness.
3) Eli Bradley’s Patriot

Even though Elijah Richardson’s character didn’t show off any powers in 2021’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, this actually makes Eli Bradley โ the grandson of super-soldier Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly) โ the perfect candidate for the Young Avengers. In Marvel Comics, Eli Bradley claimed to have been given superpowers via a blood transfusion from his grandfather, but he actually took Mutant Growth Hormone, and lied to his Young Avengers teammates. This would be great to explore in the MCU, especially with mutants now making their first appearances in the franchise, so it would be fantastic to see Richardson return.
2) Skaar

One of the most criminally-underdeveloped new MCU characters is Skaar, the son of Bruce Banner’s Hulk who was briefly played by Wil Deusner in the finale of 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. We haven’t heard from Banner, Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), or Skaar in the three years since, but Skaar would be a great member of the Young Avengers โ acting as the team’s Hulk. Skaar has a dark backstory in Marvel Comics which deserves exploration in the MCU, and getting him involved with other young heroes would be a great way to further develop the new Hulk-like hero.
1) Angela Del Toro’s White Tiger

Set photos from the production of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, which is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, have revealed that Camila Rodriguez’s Angela del Toro will suit up as the White Tiger. Her uncle, Hector Ayala (Kamar de los Reyes), operated as the superpowered vigilante in season 1, but was killed by a corrupt NYPD officer. Angela will follow in his footsteps in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, which will prime her to a Young Avenger โ something like the team’s version of the Black Panther. Operating as part of Daredevil’s army will give her essential team-working experience.
