Netflix Reveals Top 10 Original Movies by Hours Watched

Netflix has released new information about its top 10 most-watched original films. The streaming service released a list of its most-watched movies based on the number of hours viewers have spent with them, which may skew the list towards longer films. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos revealed the list during Vox Media’s Code Conference on Monday. Netflix’s roughly 209 million paid subscribers gravitated towards Bird Box most, which is unsurprising considering how much talk the movie generated online for its strange premise. Others seem to rely on star power to draw attention. These include Chris Hemsworth in Extraction, produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, which Netflix announced is getting a sequel, and Martin Scorcese’s The Irishman, starring Rober De Niro.
