Oshi no Ko is coming back for a new season of episodes next year, and has finally locked down its release window with a new look at some of the new faces we’ll see in Season 3. Oshi no Ko has been one of the wildest new releases anime fans have seen in the past few years. Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s original Oshi no Ko manga was already a hit, but the premiere of the TV anime took things to a whole new level as fans were immediately drawn to its incredible series premiere. Now it’s already heading into its third season.

Oshi no Ko Season 3 previously confirmed it would be releasing some time in 2026, but a new update has thankfully given fans much more information. It’s now been revealed that Oshi no Ko Season 3 will be premiering sometime in January 2026 as part of the Winter 2026 anime schedule, but has yet to announce a concrete release date as of this time. But to celebrate the release window, Oshi no Ko Season 3 has revealed more of what to expect with a new teaser trailer and poster that you can check out below.
Oshi no Ko Season 3 Finally Reveals January 2026 Release Window
As announced during a special event for the anime that took place this weekend in Japan, Oshi no Ko Season 3 will be making its premiere in January 2026. This newest batch of teaser shows the first look at Ruby taking part in the variety show, “Dig Deep! One Chance!!” This also introduces some new members to the cast seen for the first time with these teasers including Yuto Takenakaย as Shun Yoshizumi and Yoji Uedaย as Tetsu Urushibara. The voice cast from the first two seasons is likely set to return for their respective roles as well.
It was also announced during the event that Ruby’s idol group B-Komachi will soon be hosting a real-life virtual event in Japan as well. The upcoming B-Komachi Live Tour 2026 – Beyond the Brilliance VirtualLive –ย event series will be kicking off with a show at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater Main Hall in April next year with 12 performances overall being planned across Aichi, Osaka and Tokyo. But unfortunately for international fans, no plans for the events have yet to be revealed as of this time.
How to Catch Up With Oshi no Ko Ahead of Season 3
With Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s original Oshi no Ko manga series now ended as of last year, Oshi no Ko Season 3 is going to be the first new entry in the franchise that fans will be able to check out in some time. The second season also ended with a very intriguing role swap for Aqua and Ruby. Because while Aqua has decided to give up on his path to revenge for now, it’s a different case for Ruby as she has sparked a whole new path of vengeance for herself as she seeks to find a murderer.
If you wanted to catch up with Oshi no Ko’s first two seasons in the meantime, you can find it all now streaming exclusively with HIDIVE with both Japanese and English language audio. There’s also a full live-action TV series and feature film that can be found streaming with Prime Video, so there’s plenty of ways to catch up with the story before these new episodes hit next year.
